SID deals with the design of FPSO Suction Anchors. More precisely with the creation of non-linear integrated soil-structure models, mohr-coloumb soil models and elastic models of the anchor.
Above that SID takes care of the analysis of collisions between FPSO and supply vessels as well as the coupled thermal and mechanical analysis of FPSO hull to determine relative displacement between topsides and supports.
Not to forget SID also offers the prediction of noise levels.
